It let you to select part of image on it color properties and to measure area of selection. Border of selection determines contour line. Length of contour line can be measured too. You can to cut selected part an to copy it to clipboard or to paint it by specifyed color. Program let you to measure difference or distance between two colors and provide conversion from one color model to other.
In the program the following models of color are used: RGB, HSL, HSB, Lab, LabtoCH, LUV, YcbCr, YUV, CMYk, XYZ, HunterLab, Yxy.
Formulas for color differences use the CIE Lab color space. There are three base formulas that are used to obtain dE CIE76, CIE94 and CIEDE2000.
In program together with this formulas formulas for calculation CMC, Delta H and Delta H differences are used too.
The part of a code, which makes a basis of the program, is executed as a separate component. This component can be used in various programs of computer graphics, CAD and Vision Systems.
